My career has included many professional and community volunteer appointments, including a founding Director Lawyers’ Assistance Society, Edmonton Community Legal Centre, and Pro Bono Law Alberta.

I was named Queen’s Counsel in 1999 and I was honoured by the Law Society and Canadian Bar Association with the Distinguished Service Award in 2017. In the last three years, my Law Society responsibilities have included Chair Practice Review Committee, Vice-Chair Conduct Committee, Member Lawyer Competence Committee, as well I have sat on numerous Law Society panels.
