Call: 2007
The rule of law is a foundational aspect of our society and pillar of our profession.
Self regulation is a tremendous privilege, a privilege which requires dedicated benchers to serve their role with the regulator in furtherance of the public interest.
The legal profession faces constant challenges, both from societal factors as well as from new emerging technologies. While these technologies may be incredibly useful, they must be carefully monitored.
I have devoted a significant amount of time, albeit in different capacities, to legal public service.
I believe that my professional and volunteer experience illustrates a number of attributes listed as competencies which would benefit the bencher table.
